Malcolm D. Earl, F1c Identified

We'd like to thank Alan Earl, for sharing the portrait of his grandfather and USS Mississinewa shipmate, Malcolm D. Earl, F1c, with us. Additionally, Alan was able to identify his grandfather, Malcolm, in the crew photo (see Crew Photo Section F).

Malcolm originally came aboard the Miss on 22Oct1944. Later, when the ship was sunk, he was rescued by the Mascoma (AO-83) boat.
